One of the most exciting things for me is just understanding where I’m at in my career. I have a long way to go within my working life, and I recognize that GAT is working toward its fourth generation of ownership — and that generation of ownership is right within my generation as well. So we really have an opportunity to continue to grow and expand this business together. It’s a very exciting thing.
As I moved down here and got to know more people in the office and on the floor, it’s very evident that GAT is making an effort to really drive this business into the future. It’s not a situation where 80% of our staff are over 50 — we have a very good balance of seasoned, experienced individuals and young people who are growing and learning, and who will drive this company into the future.
