My background has always been in the finishing industry. GAT offered me an opportunity to grow into something that offered a little bit more challenge in my day-to-day life, with designing systems to meet customers’ expectations. GAT really offered me the opportunity to be much more hands-on and creative, and to use my mind to solve customers’ problems.
Instead of just selecting something out of a price book and saying, “This is what I can offer you,” I actually have the opportunity now to sit down with a customer, understand their challenges, their pains, what they’re trying to accomplish, and go through that process from the ground up to design a system that meets those specifications.
